Product Details

This Protector XL floor-mounted laboratory hood features vertical-rising sashes and is designed to meet the SEFA 1 standard of a low velocity, high performance hood. It may be operated as low as 60 fpm. Use for general chemistry applications and laboratory procedures that require over-sized equipment or maximum working height. The hood is constructed of durable, powder-coated steel with two tempered safety glass sashes and a corrosion- and chemical-resistant, fiberglass-reinforced composite panel liner that surpasses all national codes for flame spread. Features include removable access panels, 63.6" loading height, and pre-wired T8 fluorescent lighting. Requires a remote blower and ductwork, not included.
