Lamps and Light Bulbs
Light bulbs, also known as electric lamps, fit into light fixtures to provide general, task, or accent lighting. They also fit into machinery and portable lights for targeted lighting. Bulbs are used in new lighting installations or as replacements for broken or burnt-out lamps in existing installations. Standard bulbs provide everyday lighting. Decorative bulbs are used in exposed fixtures. High-output bulbs provide brighter-than-standard light.
